Secuoya anda Caracol TV analyze the opportunities in Latin America during the FICCI

Raúl Berdonés, executive chairman of the Spanish company, and Dago García, vice-chairman of Colombia’s leading television channel, talk about business models in Latin America on the second day of the 63rd edition of the FICCI

The Cartagena International Film Festival (FICCI) became the epicentre of the conversation on the state of the audiovisual industry in Latin America. Raúl Berdonés, executive chairman of Secuoya Content Group, participated in a panel alongside Dago García, vice-chairman of Caracol Televisión, to analyze the complexities and opportunities facing creators, producers, channels, distributors and streaming platforms in a
constantly evolving environment. Chaired by
Samuel Castro, co-director ofIberseries & Platino Industria, the talk explored the sector’s trends, challenges and growth prospects in the region.  

In addition, the conversation, organized for the sixth edition of the NIDO section, addressed key aspects that define the current moment, as well as the visions of the Spanish company’s CEO and the Colombian executive on Colombia’s role as a key player in the Latin American audiovisual market. They also discussed the opportunities the country offers for investment, incentives, co-production and collaboration

From the adaptation of new technologies to the search for global audiences, the participants examined the innovative strategies and best practices to guarantee sustainability and success in an increasingly
competitive and diversified market. 

After the panel, Secuoya Content Group staged a presentation ceremony on the terrace of the Palacio de la Proclamación, which was attended by a large part of the industry players accredited for this edition of the prestigious Colombian festival.
