Secuoya Content Group reaffirms its commitment to the Ibero-American audiovisual industry and will once again participate in the fifth edition of Iberseries & Platino Industria, the great meeting point of the Ibero-American audiovisual industry promoted by Fundación Secuoya and EGEDA. The event will begin on Monday, September 29, at the Auditorio Casa del Lector with the opening ceremony by Raúl Berdonés, president of Fundación Secuoya and Secuoya Content Group, which will give way to four intense days of panels, round tables, and meetings among professionals of the sector.
Focus on Global Expansion and Story Creation
The studio will be in charge of opening the program with the Spotlight The Year of Global Expansion. Moderated by Brendan Fitzgerald, CEO of Secuoya Studios, the meeting will bring together Chiara Cardoso (BlackBox Multimedia), Sydney Gallone (Make it Happen Studios), Jönas Margelr (Act4), and Chris Moukarbel (Permanent Wave Productions), who will jointly present new international alliances and ongoing projects. It will take place on Tuesday, September 30, at the Auditorio Casa del Lector.
Participation in Key Industry Panels
During the program, the company will participate in various strategic panels and debates. On Wednesday, October 1, at the Auditorio Casa del Lector, the session Co-production in European Fiction: Joining Forces for the Future will be held. José Manuel González Pacheco, Director of Strategy and M&A of the group, will take part in this space to share the company’s vision on new models of international cooperation and their future.
On October 2, it will be the turn of Eduardo Galdo, Director of Secuoya Studios Stories and producer of La Encrucijada, who will participate as a speaker in the talk Architects of Creation: Showrunners, where he will share the stage with international creators from the United States, Denmark, and Chile in a dialogue about the figure of the showrunner and the keys to creating universal stories.
That same day, the group will be represented in the panel The Role of Business Affairs and Its Function in the Articulation Between Audiovisual Production and International Public Policies, moderated by Carlos López, Secretary General and Director of Legal Counsel of Secuoya Content Group. This space will serve to analyze how this key figure guarantees regulatory compliance, the protection of copyright, and the private interests of the audiovisual industry and international public policies.
Fundación Secuoya Will Present The Natural Media Lab
For its part, Fundación Secuoya will carry out the official presentation of The Natural Media Lab, a project promoted together with the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha, which was born with the objective of fostering talent, innovation, and the consolidation of the audiovisual ecosystem of the region. The event will take place on Thursday, October 2, at Nave 12, during a breakfast with journalists led by Samuel Castro, director of the foundation, and Ana Isabel Fernández Samper, general director of Tourism, Commerce and Handicrafts of Castilla-La Mancha.
