The group repeats recognition for the fourth consecutive year in these awards that reward excellence among professionals in the sector.
Carlos López, Secretary General of Secuoya Content Group, has been awarded as In-House Counsel of the Year – Entertainment & Sports at the VIII edition of the Iberian Lawyer Gold Awards, held on November 5, 2024.
This prestigious award recognizes his excellence and leadership in the sector, highlighting him among top finalists such as LaLiga, Real Madrid, The Walt Disney Company, Sony Music Entertainment and Universal Music Group.
Organized by Iberian Lawyer, the Gold Awards honor in-house and compliance professionals in Spain and Portugal, covering key areas such as legal, tax, human resources and finance.
This is the fourth time that Secuoya Content Group has been recognized in these awards: in 2023, Javier Bermúdez, Head of Legal Affairs at Secuoya Studios, was distinguished as Best In-House Counsel Sub-40; in 2022, the group’s legal team was awarded Best In-House Legal Team in the Telecommunications & Media category, competing with major firms such as The Walt Disney Company, LaLiga, Hispasat and Telefónica. Likewise, in the 2021 edition, Carlos López was also distinguished as In-House Counsel of the Year in the Entertainment & Sports category.
