An exhibition project that combines audiovisual innovation, interactivity and heritage to bring Enlightenment legacy closer to today’s audiences
Secuoya Nexus has developed the full set of audiovisual and interactive experiences for the commemorative exhibition marking the 250th anniversary of the founding of the Royal Aragonese Economic Society of Friends of the Country, which will run until June 28 at La Lonja in Zaragoza.
The project translates the institution’s historical legacy into a contemporary, immersive and accessible language, combining 3D animation, audiovisual storytelling, scenography and digital interaction. The visitor journey follows the organisation from its Enlightenment origins through the evolution of Ibercaja and its future outlook.
Immersive experiences to understand the history of Aragón
One of the main pillars of the Secuoya Content Group subsidiary’s proposal is “Journey to the Past”, an immersive piece that transports audiences to Zaragoza in 1776. Through this experience, visitors can relive the birth of La Económica, discover the figure of Pignatelli, and understand the reformist drive of the Enlightenment thinkers.
Meanwhile, “The First Branch” introduces a key interactive component. This installation recreates a historic bank branch where visitors can symbolically open a passbook and make their first deposit, guided by digital avatars.

The project also includes “The Major Milestones of the Savings Bank”, an audiovisual piece that walks through the key historical moments of Ibercaja. It highlights the bank’s territorial expansion, its commitment to Aragón, the protection of heritage, and its role in the region’s economic and social development.
This journey is complemented by “Pignatelli’s Dream”, an evocative proposal that connects Enlightenment thinking with contemporary values such as freedom, coexistence, education and Aragón’s future.
The project was developed in close collaboration with the exhibition curator, Domingo Buesa, a key figure in shaping the content and providing the historical context of the show. The support of Amado Franco, President of Fundación Ibercaja, was also fundamental, and his involvement helped drive this cultural initiative forward.

Technological innovation in service of heritage
With this project, Secuoya Nexus reinforces its commitment to creating immersive experiences that integrate technology, narrative and culture. The initiative demonstrates how audiovisual innovation can become a key tool to reinterpret historical heritage, make it accessible to new audiences, and keep alive the legacy of institutions that have played a fundamental role in Aragón’s history.
