The acclaimed visual effects specialist, winner of the Goya and Gaudí awards, joins XPost Studios (Drago Broadcast) along with a team experienced in internationally award-winning productions to drive the technological and creative development of the post-production area
Secuoya Content Group announces the appointment of Iván López Hernández as the new Head of the VFX area at XPost Studios, the specialist post-production brand of Drago Broadcast Services. With a well-established track record in visual effects and multiple awards to his name, his arrival represents a strategic step to strengthen the Group’s leadership in advanced technical services for audiovisual production.
Talent, experience and vision to keep creating without limits
Iván López Hernández, specialized in visual effects supervision and design for film, television and advertising, has brought his technical and artistic vision to numerous top-tier projects. Widely recognized in the industry for his work on high-impact film and television productions, his most recent film project, “El 47,” won both the Goya Award and the Gaudí Award for Best Special Effects.
“By bringing Iván on board, we are reinforcing our commitment to cutting-edge post-production and VFX services. His talent, experience and awards raise our technical standards even further and position us more strongly in an increasingly demanding market,” said Raúl Berdonés, Executive Chairman of Secuoya Content Group.

Joining him is a team of specialists with extensive international experience and top-tier industry accolades in visual effects: Guillermo Orbe, Compositing and VFX Supervisor (Goya Award for “El Niño” and a VES Award for “Game of Thrones”); Inma Nadela, Compositing Artist (VES Award for “Game of Thrones” and a Gaudí Award nomination for “Pain and Glory”); and David Esteve, Compositing Artist (VES Award nominee for “Game of Thrones”).

For his part, Iván López Hernández stated: “I’m joining Secuoya with great enthusiasm at a time when visual effects are key to the competitiveness of the audiovisual industry. Together with my team, we want to contribute our experience to strengthen the Group’s technical offering and support creators in bringing their stories to life.”
The strength of a Group that integrates technology and creativity
Visual effects have evolved from being a visual resource to becoming a fundamental part of the audiovisual content production process. Well-integrated VFX enable imaginary worlds, digital characters or impossible elements to come to life with a level of realism that feels increasingly close to the audience.
In fiction productions, series and film, VFX represent a narrative and aesthetic language that expands creative boundaries. Likewise, in documentaries or hybrid projects (virtual production, XR, hybrid environments), they provide the technical capability to innovate with resources that were previously unfeasible.
For Secuoya Content Group, present across the industry’s entire value chain, having strong VFX leadership within the Services area is a clear competitive differentiator. The addition of a team with experience on internationally award-winning productions strengthens the Group’s ability to take on audiovisual projects of high technical and creative complexity. In a globalized, technology-driven market, the ability to offer a complete, high-level visual effects service is key to attracting premium projects and meeting the technical and creative demands of platforms and broadcasters.
