The founder and executive chairman of Secuoya Content Group was recognized for his contribution to the economic and cultural development of Granada
This award adds to a distinguished career already honored with the Andalusia Flag and the 2025 Talent Awards
Raúl Berdonés, Executive Chairman of Secuoya Content Group, was honored with the 2025 Radio Granada Award at a ceremony held on June 12 at the Palacio de Congresos in the Andalusian capital. The recognition highlights his career as a driving force behind one of the leading international audiovisual production groups, with an established presence in Granada, Madrid, Latin America, the United States, and Europe.
The jury praised his entrepreneurial spirit, strategic vision, and strong commitment to his home region, demonstrated by maintaining Secuoya Content Group’s registered headquarters in his hometown. The company has become a model of innovation and growth within the new-generation audiovisual industry, championing initiatives such as the Granada Film Commission, created in collaboration with the City Council and the Chamber of Commerce.
Since its early days in Granada, Secuoya Content Group has evolved into a key player in the global content production ecosystem, expanding and consolidating itself as an international benchmark with ongoing projects in strategic European markets. Berdonés has also been the leading force behind Madrid Content City, one of the world’s largest content production hubs.
Berdonés thanked Adolfo Machado, General Director of Radio Granada, for the award, and emphasized “the crucial role of media in shaping society—not only at the national level, but also as essential players in delivering local and community-based information.”
This new recognition in Andalusia adds to a career already honored with the Andalusia Flag Award in 2023 and the 2025 Talent Awards granted by the regional government. In this year’s edition, Berdonés was recognized alongside organizations and individuals such as pharmaceutical company Rovi, Fajalauza, the Order of Saint John of God, scientist José Miguel Jiménez, and the Habichuela family.
