Raúl Berdonés, President of Secuoya Content Group and of the Madrid Audiovisual Cluster, chaired the Ordinary General Assembly held last Thursday at Estudio Super8 in Madrid. During the Assembly, the 2024 activity report, annual accounts, and the Board of Directors’ management were approved. Among the recent highlights was the success of the first Madrid Audiovisual Investment Forum. New initiatives were also announced, including a financing forum for independent film, a sustainability summit, and the launch of the Madrid Audiovisual Observatory.
The session concluded with a presentation by María Coronado, Director of Audiovisual at SETT, who outlined new funding opportunities under the Spain Audiovisual Hub Plan, with a budget of over €1.7 billion.
The Madrid Audiovisual Cluster now brings together 97 entities, including producers, distributors, platforms, universities, service firms, and institutional partners such as the Madrid City Council and the Community of Madrid. Its mission is to strengthen the audiovisual ecosystem, foster talent, and position Madrid as an international benchmark.
