The distinction recognizes the Andalusian entrepreneur’s leadership and the national and international trajectory of a company born in Granada, now a benchmark in the global audiovisual industry
The city of Granada has recognized the career and business commitment of Raúl Berdonés, Executive Chairman of Secuoya Content Group, with the awarding of its Gold Medal — a distinction that highlights not only his personal connection to the city but also his contribution to the development of the Andalusian and Spanish audiovisual industries.
As head of one of the leading audiovisual groups in Spain and Latin America — responsible for producing content for international platforms and broadcasters that have placed Granada’s talent on the global industry map — Berdonés has played a decisive role in the growth and strengthening of a strategic sector for Spain’s economy and cultural projection.
Raúl Berdonés stated: “Receiving the Gold Medal of my city, Granada, is an honor. It means that my professional career, which began here, now also receives this institutional recognition. I take this award as an opportunity to reaffirm my commitment to Andalusia, to the audiovisual sector, and to generating opportunities that connect local talent with the global industry. I am deeply grateful to Granada, to its mayor, Marifrán Carazo, and to the entire City Council for this gesture that fills me with pride and emotion.”
The award represents an institutional acknowledgment of Raúl Berdonés’ leadership, who, throughout his career, has consolidated Secuoya Content Group — a company founded in Granada and headquartered in the Andalusian capital — as one of the leading groups in the creation and production of content in Spain for the global market.
