The investigative journalism program on laSexta, produced in collaboration with Secuoya Content Group, returns with a revealing report on the hidden business and risks behind fairground rides.
Fans of investigative journalism once again have a weekly appointment with laSexta on Friday nights (10:30 p.m.). ‘Equipo de Investigación‘, produced with the collaboration of CBMedia (Secuoya Content Group) and hosted by Glòria Serra, launches a new season, consolidating its status as the leading program in its genre: the most-watched investigative show on Spanish television and one of the longest-running on the network.
First episode: the hidden side of fairs
The fifteenth season begins with “La ley de la feria” (The Law of the Fair), a report examining the safety of amusement rides after two recent fatal accidents: a 20-year-old who died after falling from a ride and a two-year-old girl electrocuted on a trampoline attraction. The program will investigate what inspections are carried out in this multi-million-euro business, who hires the inspectors, and what lies behind the so-called “unwritten law” that governs the fairground world, a sector often marked by clan rivalries and violent incidents.
Fourteen uninterrupted years on air
‘Equipo de Investigación’ returns after closing last season with its best results since 2019: an average 6.1% audience share, 654,000 viewers per episode, and more than 2 million unique viewers.
Its unmistakable narrative style, rigorous approach to current affairs, and commitment to truth have made it a must-watch on Friday nights. In addition to its broadcast on laSexta, the program is available on Atresplayer, and internationally through Antena 3 and Atresplayer Internacional.
